I'm seriously considering un-anonymousing. I'd go back and do a bit of revision, of course, but I'm starting to feel like using my name would be freeing.
Acknowledgement: If you know me IRL, you may well know about this. So it's not like we're talking total anonymity, anyway. But I still have a bit of a buffer.

I think about it all the time. I don't think its possible now, but maybe when I change roles.
ReplyDeleteMaybe.
like your new header!
I don't think about it. I revel in my anonymity (this has much to do with MoreCows' comment - my life is public enough as it is). But more power to you if you decide to lift the veil. :)
ReplyDeleteI have always been public. I can understand why a few people would want to remain undercover but not the majority.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to have two blogs- one anonymous and one not to say what I really want to say! I can't be bothered!
ReplyDeleteI find my non-anonymity freeing too, though a little daunting at times, and would be tickled if you decided to join me. I certainly understand why people make the opposite decision, though.
ReplyDeleteI like people knowing my name. Though my daughter AE says it is better to be anonymous.
ReplyDeleteMy life's a complete open book. Unfortunately, the people IN my life don't feel the same way, and since my blog is not strictly about ME, I had to make the opposite decision of the one you're pondering and go undercover. I don't know why, but it feels dishonest. The day will come when I will use my name again, after the dust has settled, and I really can't wait!
ReplyDeletethere are some things I like about being public, and some things I would LIKE to talk about but can't. sometimes I wish I had an anonymous blog -- may not instead of, but in addition to.
ReplyDeleteI don't know.
